PAINTING exhibition collaboration of Wisma Cheshire and Singapore Intercultural School Bona Vista, in South of Jakarta and took in enlivening with the theme “To Make A Better World’  Wisma Cheshire Foundation Bazaar & Painting Exhibition in 2016. Diego  exhibited and demonstrated in how to make an painting in front of visitors and other exhibitors. ONE of unusual Diego’s paintings entitled ‘Happy Jungle’ was purchased by Mrs. Suki Brar-khangura, when she ordered directly to Diego after she saw Diego showing off and demonstrating how to make paintings in front of visitors and other exhibitors at the event of ‘To Make A Better World’ Wisma Cheshire Foundation Bazaar & Painting Exhibition 2016 at Singapore Intercultural School Bona Vista, South Jakarta. Shown in the picture, Mrs. Suki was very happy with Diego’s painting and she brought it to England after he delivered and handed over his painting directly to her residence at Kemang, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

ONE of Diego’s paintings entitled ‘The Savior’ was successfully purchased by Mr. Daniel Smith and Ms. Anita Wini, through a silent auction at the event in the commemoration of World Cancer Day in 2017 which resulted to donate his painting as a silent auction to help children with cancer mainly donated to Rumah Anyo, Children’s Cancer House in West Jakarta. The event itself was held at the Double Tree Hotel Jakarta. Shown in the picture Mr. Daniel Smith and Ms. Anita Wini was delighted to win this silent auction and they brought it painting to the USA.

DIEGO posed together with Madam H.E. Marina Berg, former Ambassador of Sweden to Indonesia with her daughter at the celebrating of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, 2019 in Plaza Indonesia Auditorium, Central Jakarta.

DIEGO Berel was celebrating World Down Syndrome Day in 2019 which falls every March 21 at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta. He also posed together with Madeline Stuart (middle), a Down Syndrome sufferer who is famous as a professional model from Australia, Ms.Lisa Mihardja (left) founder & owner of Alleira Batik, Mrs. Mien Uno, Indonesian leaders in education & etiquette experts and Zaka Hamzah (right), COO Alleira Batik.

DIEGO solo painting exhibition at the event of “To Make A Better World” an collaboration painting exhibition of Wisma Cheshire with Singapore Intercultural School Bona Vista, in South of Jakarta and took in enlivening of Wisma Cheshire Foundation Bazaar & Painting Exhibition in 2016. Seen in this picture, Diego was able to taking a photo with his painting and visual art mentor, Safrie at the opening day of the exhibition.

WITH entitled of “Painting for a Better Future,” Diego’s work with students with special needs was exhibited at the Erasmus Huis Building, Kuningan, South Jakarta from February 21 to March 15, 2019. The photo shows Diego here looking serious in talking with the Head of the Political Department, Embassy The Kingdom of the Netherlands, Jakarta, Mr. Prof.dr. Roel van der Veen in front of his paintings.

AS an appreciation to Mr & Mrs. Moetaryanto for the support, encouragement and advice that is always given to Diego Luister Berel in creating in the world of art, especially painting, Diego handed over as a gift one of his painting collections with entitled “The Nature” directly to Mr. Moetaryanto, owner of Petrolog Indah Ltd at his residence in the Kemang area, South Jakarta. Seen in the picture that Diego still be able to took a picture together with Mr & Mrs. Moetaryanto.

DIEGO is being interviewed by a Kompas TV station in a program “Special Needs Children with Talents” regarding the process of making his paintings to everyday life and about how to communicate in social circles. As seen here Diego is enjoying the interview accompanied by his lovely mother.

DIEGO gave a gift one of his painting collection with entitled ‘The Blood of The Cross of Christ’ to Priest Abraham Ferdinandus, Chairman of the GPIB Effatha Congregation, South Jakarta last year as an expression of gratitude for being given the opportunity for two consecutive years Diego’s paintings to decorate the Effatha Church calendar.
