THE Ministry of Social Affairs held an exhibition of the work of persons with disabilities at the ministry’s office from Wednesday, December 1-3, 2021 as part of the commemoration of International Disabilities Day which fells on December 3.

In the exhibition, Diego menampilkan 4 karya lukisannya were displayed, such as paintings on canvas, paintings and visual art products. All of these works can also be purchased directly by visitors.

As seen in the picture, Diego gave a present to the Minister of Social Affairs, Mrs. Risma Tri Rismaharini’s, a pair of chair cushion from Diego’s painting.

EXHIBITION of special needs youth paintings held at the Institut Français d’Indonesien, Jalan Wijaya 1 no: 48, South Jakarta. This talented youth exhibition with passion and perseverance is an inspiration for us all. This Special Paintings exhibition 2019 event was also held Talk shows, Playing in French, Painting Activity, Gala Dinner, Painting Auction and Donation.

Diego Luister Berel along with eight other painters, Seto Yudonoto Purnomo, Fero Adhi Mada Jane Gabriella, Mahadana Trayusa, Aurelie Sariputri Wirananda, Indhy Mutiarahmah and Banu Gunottama participated in a painting exhibition at the FRANÇAIS Indonesia (IFI) INST on 21 October-3 November 2019.

IN conjunction of World Autism Day 2018 which fells on April 2, ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta held “The Gifted Ones” Art Exhibition at ARTSPACE, M Level ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta. The series of social activities titled the art exhibition showcased paintings by 11 children with autism aged 15 years to 20 years including some Diego’s painting. This exhibition of paintings is sold to the public on a silent auction system. Besides the exhibition of works of art, a series of activities was also filled with workshops, and one of Diego’s painting was sold.

WITH the theme of “Painting for a Better Future,” Diego joined for artwork by special needs students was displayed at an exhibition in Erasmus Huis Building, Kuningan South Jakarta from February 21 to March 15, 2019. Photo shows Diego and his mom are being interviewed by one of the national private television stations about his painting.

IN commemoration of the World Autism Awareness 2018, there an bazar collaboration between Mayapada Hospital South Jakarta with Mpati (Indonesian autistic community) held a bazaar and painting exhibition at Mayapada Hospital. Diego, representing the Daya Pelita Kasih Center, exhibited some of his paintings there. As seen here, Diego with his friend and parent community was be able to taking pictures.

AN exhibition of paintings by youth with special needs took part in enlivening the Earthy Christmas event, the Pullman Thamrin Hotel Jakarta from 15 December to 29 December 2019. The hotel provided an area on the 2nd floor to exhibit these paintings with youth with special needs and works they also aim for charity.

IN celebrating of Daya Pelita Kasih Foundation (DPK) anniversary, there were a series of events that were held on Wednesday, 23 October 2019 and the event started from 09.00-13.00. Well, in this activity with students the theme “Prom Day” is celebrated together with teachers and parents. Seen here, Diego is participating to enliven the anniversary by showing off some of his paintings with other friends.

DIEGO has participated in a fundraising entitled ‘Heart for Autism Charity Night’ for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, in Jakarta, Friday (22/3/2019). This fundraising event was donated to Rumah Autis (Autistic Home). In this painting auction, one of which was Diego Luister Berel’s painting entitled ‘The Gethsemane Garden’ has been sold with a fantastic value of IDR8 million.

In this exhibition and auction event, Diego displayed two paintings with his school friends. Seen here on this occasion he was still able to take pictures at the end of this exclusive event with parents of other participant.
