DIEGO together with his school friends are conducting a workshop on “Painting as Therapy for Children with Special Needs” in front of foreign parents from the Netherlands. This painting workshop was deliberately held by the school to get input on painting education as a therapy for children with special needs from parents in the Netherlands.
DIEGO participated in a collaborative exhibition between Sunrise gallery and the London School Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA) in collaboration with Sekolah Daya Pelita Kasih to hold a group charity art exhibition with the theme Heart for Autism at Sunrise Gallery, Fairmont Hotel, Level 2. This exhibition was held for the public from 2 August to 28 August 2019. In the picture, Diego took a photo with Jessica Senjaya as the Director of Sunrise Art Gallery at the opening of the exhibition.
DIEGO has participated in ‘Sharing For Love Fundraising Concert 2019,’ the collaboration of Ananda Sukarlan concert with special needs painting exhibition & auction at Cyber Building Auditorium. One of his paintings sold at this auction. Seen here on this occasion he was still able to take pictures at the end of this exclusive event.
DIEGO painting has been exhibited since 2015, and one of his painting was selected by Muklay, an artist in his single exhibition, featuring collaboration painting of Diego and Muklay, at ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta, June 2017. One of his painting became the best choice by Art Director of ARTOTEL Jakarta during the Tutorial/Workshop by ARTOTEL. As seen here Diego posed with his mom’s friends at the opening exhibition.
FOR the first time the paintings of students with special needs were exhibited at ALILA Hotel Seminyak, Bali as well as a social program hotel about caring for the people of Bali for children with special needs. Diego Luister Berel who enlivened the exhibition with the theme ‘Looking Beyond Disabilities, Focusing on Capabilities & Expanding Possibilities’ which presented 25 paintings from 11 painters. 19 paintings were sold through the silent auction including Diego’s painting, which was held from the beginning to the closing of the exhibition (August 23-28, 2017).

IN commemoration of the World Autism Awareness 2018, there an bazar collaboration between Mayapada Hospital South Jakarta with Mpati (Indonesian autistic community) held a bazaar and painting exhibition at Mayapada Hospital. Diego, representing the Daya Pelita Kasih Center, exhibited some of his paintings there. As seen here, Diego was be able to taking pictures in front of the banner before the exhibition.
DIEGO Luister Berel joined in Festival Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) tourism promotion in the Ministry of Tourism, at the Soesilo Soedarman Hall, Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta, Ministry of Tourism Office Jakarta on July 2017. Diego displayed several paintings in his solo exhibition. He seems be able to be posed together with Head of Lembata Regent, Eliazer Yentji Sunur with his wife at this event.
AN collaboration painting exhibition of Wisma Cheshire with Singapore Intercultural School Bona Vista, in South of Jakarta and took in enlivening with the theme “To Make A Better World’ Wisma Cheshire Foundation Bazaar & Painting Exhibition in 2016. Diego exhibited and demonstrated in how to make an painting in front of visitors and other exhibitors. Photo shows Diego posed together with officials and exhibitors at the opening ceremony.
