KOMPAS Minggu daily is interested in interviewing Diego, and eager to seeing firsthand how Diego paints with both hands simultaneously in painting on canvas to fill the Sunday edition of the Generasi Keren (cool generation) at Kompas Muda rubric. ONE fine day at the Santa Monika Church hall, BSD in the event “Fundraising Sharing for the Future” in 21 May 2023 after the 2nd praying, the live painting with Diego and the painting were being auctioned for charity and it was included at Diego’s program sharing love for others. For a good cause Thank you Mr. Tommy Hermanses from MATALESOGE Hospitality Academy for Individuals with Special Needs.
DIEGO recently has joined at the coaching clinic art workshop was hosted by Safrie Effendi with the theme “Color Theory” at World Autism Awareness Day, at the collaboration event of ARTOTELGroup and MATALESOGE HospitABLElity Academy. In addition, an art exhibition was also held featuring works of art from 10 individuals with special needs including Diego Luister Berel.
DIEGO recently has joined to commemorate World Autism Awareness Day, at the collaboration event of ARTOTELGroup and MATALESOGE HospitABLElity Academy held ‘Autism Day at ARTOTEL’ on Saturday (5/13), 2023 at ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta. The event presents an art exhibition was also held featuring works of art from 10 individuals with special needs. As seen in the picture, he posed on his newest artwork artfusion “Spring Time.”
Stairway To Heaven
THIS time Diego painted in early April 2023 there are two simultaneous events about Easter and Eid al-Fitr, here Diego tries to describe his imagination and view of these two events by painting two holy white stairs leading to Heaven with soft colors.

The Iceberg
DIEGO’S continues to explore and experiment the beauty of ‘The Iceberg’ contemporary art here in his painting. As a deep, cold ocean current flows down from the iceberg. There, icebergs calve in great numbers, breaking off glaciers to float freely in the ocean which brings a ‘cold’ atmosphere.
