Paint It Black
AMONG the songs of The Rolling Stones, they were preparing to record was Paint It Black – cynical, nasty, skeptical, rude… The lyrics and the mood of the songs fitted with the kids’ disenchantment with the grown-up world of America in 1966. Meanwhile, the foreboding energy of “Paint It Black” was picked up by the American troops, who identified with the song’s implicit fury and despair while valiantly trying to survive in an increasingly horrific and pointless war.
With Diego imagination and creation poured into a very simple neat painting through his palette knife painted using colored acrylic painted with opposite both images side in separately canvas.
