DIEGO gave a gift one of his painting collection with entitled ‘The Blood of The Cross of Christ’ to Priest Abraham Ferdinandus, Chairman of the GPIB Effatha Congregation, South Jakarta last year as an expression of gratitude for being given the opportunity for two consecutive years Diego’s paintings to decorate the Effatha Church calendar.

AS a token of gratitude for one of the art work of Diego’s Luister Berel from Mr. Indra W. Supriadi, who bought his painting. Diego submitted his own painting entitled “Stairway To Heaven” at Mr. Indra’s residence in South Jakarta in May 2017. Waves in the Fierce Sea
The waves around the Fierce sea are towering, indicating a storm is coming. This Diego’s work was inspired by after he saw a movie on TV about fishermen against the ferocity of the ocean. Diego’s painting depict colorful human life and aesthetic nature, Characteristic of all his paintings are the various colors, which he creates using the classic palette knife. He continues to explore and experiment the beauty of contemporary art.
A DUCK IN THE RIVER
A Duck in The River
Diego who likes to explore in pouring a work of his paintings, Here he was inspired when he saw a program on TV about ducks swimming in murky river water in a village in Central Java. In this painting, Diego translates a red and yellow duck swimming in murky river water with black color. There is a pull of a line that uses the strength of his pallet knife that is swept as the release of the emotion that is ventilated on the canvas.
THE GIFTED ONES PAINTING EXHIBITION
IN the context of World Autism Day 2018 which falls on April 2, ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta held “The Gifted Ones” Art Exhibition at ARTSPACE, M Level ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta. The series of social activities titled the art exhibition showcased paintings by 11 children with autism aged 15 years to 20 years. Some of the works include Bima Ariasena Adisoma, Diego Luister Berel, Indhy Mutiarahmah, Muhadana Trayusa, Daya Olivia Korompis, Fero Adhi Mada Sardjono, Jane Gabriella.
This exhibition of paintings is sold to the public on a silent auction system. Besides the exhibition of works of art, a series of activities was also filled with workshops, and one of Diego’s painting was sold.
HEART FOR AUTISM CHARITY EXHIBITION
SUNRISE Gallery and London School Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA) held a group charity art exhibition with the theme ‘Heart for Autism at Sunrise Gallery, Fairmont Hotel, Level 2. The exhibition is held for the public starting from 2-28 August, 2019.
Diego Luister Berel joined in this exhibit art-valued paintings and the sale of paintings activity given to donated to the Rumah Autis which handles autistic and special needs children from underprivileged families. He was in one group of Charity Art Exhibition ‘Heart for Autism’ is packaged as an exhibition of 33 paintings by the hand scratches of children with special needs. Artwork painted on canvas has artistic value as an expression of heart’s content, as a way of their communicating.
‘I’M GRATEFUL’ GOES TO MS. NOVI SAMODRO
SURPRISINGLY many people liked Diego’s paintings too, one of them being Ms. Novi Samodro, General Manager of Hotel Dharmawangsa Jakarta. Diego, who came to deliver his own painting entitled “I’m Grateful” to Ms. Novi at the hotel. Besides he also giving souvenirs to Ms. Novi a versatile bag made of canvas.

The Sunshine on Colored Lake Kelimutu
With the inspiration Diego got through visual images on the computer, Diego here tries to paint a art work on a large and wide painting canvas imagining the scorching sun shining on the colored Lake Kelimutu in Ende, East Nusa Tenggara is dominated by red colors. He is very fond of natural depictions which create a lot of inspiration that he wants to pour on the canvas.
