WELL, to deepen painting techniques, Diego also explored painting with Safrie Effendi, an artist who deliberately teaches painting techniques to Diego and collaborates with their SAF-DIEGO Projects. Yet Diego really loved the new techniques being taught to him. As seen in this picture, Diego and Safrie Effendi were able to take a photo together on their collaborative painting.

Sharp Color Strokes
DIEGO paints on two separate canvases with a size of 60 x 90 cm on each canvas with sharp strokes of color play in his abstract creation paintings using brightly colored acrylic paints painted with both sides up with green-yellow-brown-pink colors, a perfect color combination.

DIEGO Luister Berel has joined and exhibit his paintings and also as a testimonial speaker about his success in the world of painting at the Down Syndrome Day: Beauty In Imperfection event at CSB Mall Main Atrium, Cirebon, West Java, on March 31, 2023. AS an expression of Diego’s gratitude to Mr. Chandra Lukita and Mrs. Irene, Founder of Yayasan Harapanku who invited Diego Luister Berel to be able to exhibit his paintings and as a testimonial speaker about his success in the world of painting at the Down Syndrome Day: Beauty In Imperfection event at CSB Mall Main Atrium, Cirebon, West Java, on March 31, 2023. Diego presented his painting as a souvenir to Mr. Chandra Lukita and Mrs. Irene at their residence.
AFTER representing Indonesia appeared at the Asia Art Show exhibition in Kuala Lumpur from 17-20 September 2022. Diego continues to be invited to online art competition “Beautiful Moment” a chance to exhibit Diego’s artwork in Sydney, Australia in 5th January 2023. The 151 number of recognitions from the global art world is what gives Diego the confidence to always participate in these international competitions.
DIEGO deliberately gave a special gift of acrylic on water coloring cartoon painting framed matt board with a size of 30 x 30 cm to bapak (Mr). Eduard R. Pangkerego, Chief Operating Officer of ARTOTEL Group as an expression of his gratitude for being given the opportunity to have a solo exhibition at ARTOTEL Thamrin Jakarta on September 14, 2022, and one of his paintings became the tote bag model of ARTOTEL Sanur, Bali and also is considered to be the special needs artist icon of ARTOTEL Group.
PEREMPUAN Tangguh Foundation and SMESCO Indonesia initiated an annual program for people with disabilities titled ‘Karya Tanpa Batas’ to commemorate International Disability Day on 19-20 December 2022. Diego also joined the event at the SMESCO Indonesia Building by displaying a booth of various products of his work in this exhibition.
In addition, during the two-day event, there will also be various workshop classes specifically for people with disabilities to further support the goal of economic independence and the benefits of entrepreneurship.
DIEGO joined with Safri Effendi in organizing an art coaching class for the children of American Embassy residents at the American Club Jakarta area, on February 19th, 2023. The class was held from 2pm to 4pm, and these all children were very enthusiastic to join the fun coaching class.
