IN the context of World Autism Day 2018 which falls on April 2, ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta held “The Gifted Ones” Art Exhibition at ARTSPACE, M Level ARTOTEL Thamrin, Jakarta. The series of social activities titled the art exhibition showcased paintings by 11 children with autism aged 15 years to 20 years. Some of the works include Bima Ariasena Adisoma, Diego Luister Berel, Indhy Mutiarahmah, Muhadana Trayusa, Daya Olivia Korompis, Fero Adhi Mada Sardjono, Jane Gabriella.

This exhibition of paintings is sold to the public on a silent auction system. Besides the exhibition of works of art, a series of activities was also filled with workshops, and one of Diego’s painting was sold.

SUNRISE Gallery and London School Center for Autism Awareness (LSCAA) held a group charity art exhibition with the theme ‘Heart for Autism at Sunrise Gallery, Fairmont Hotel, Level 2. The exhibition is held for the public starting from 2-28 August, 2019.

Diego Luister Berel joined in this exhibit art-valued paintings and the sale of paintings activity given to donated to the Rumah Autis which handles autistic and special needs children from underprivileged families. He was in one group of Charity Art Exhibition ‘Heart for Autism’ is packaged as an exhibition of 33 paintings by the hand scratches of children with special needs. Artwork painted on canvas has artistic value as an expression of heart’s content, as a way of their communicating.

DIEGO Luister Berel here joined in ARTOTEL Jakarta for Painting Collaboration with Muklay with theme “See Something Strange” on June 9, 2017. Diego deliberately took part and also displayed several paintings in this painting collaboration at this two weeks exhibition. at second level of the hotel.

Diego Luister Berel joined in Festival Lembata, East Nusa Tenggara tourism promotion in the Ministry of Tourism, at the Soesilo Soedarman Hall, Sapta Pesona Building, Jakarta, Ministry of Tourism Office Jakarta on July 2017. Diego displayed several paintings in his solo painting exhibition. He seems be able to be posed together with former Expert Staff of the Minister of Tourism for Tourism Marketing and Cooperation (Ministry of Tourism), I Gde Pitana at this event.

AN collaboration painting exhibition of Daya Pelita Kasih Center with JS. Luwansa Hotel took in enlivening with the theme “Window of The Soul of The Special Needs” at JS. Luwansa Hotel Jakarta from 6 August to 20 August 2015. The hotel provided an area in the lobby and 2, 3 & 4rd floor to exhibit these paintings from students of Daya Pelita Kasih Center as the hotel’s CSR program for charity.

Diego Luister Berel, at this painting exhibition exhibited four of his paintings and several of paintings were sold at this two week exhibition.

DIEGO Luister Berel’s oil painting entitled ‘Raising Sun’ which was exhibited on February 23, 2018 at the UOB Chinese Year Celebration Painting Exhibition, at Mulia Hotel Jakarta sold for IDR3 million. This painting exhibition which only lasts a few hours attracts many painting lovers from Jakarta especially what more this exhibits displayed the work of children with special needs.

DIEGO, who represented the Daya Pelita Kasih School (DPK), won the third title in the 2018 SMPLB-SMALB National Student Painting Competition, a special needs painting contest was held by the South Jakarta Education Office. Diego Luister Berel, who has successfully delivered the DPK School, won the third place in the national painting competition.

THE piano recital, Ananda Sukarlan is held alongside a painting exhibition by artists with mental and physical disabilities from the Art Brut Indonesia Foundation and Yayasan Daya Pelita Kasih and the concert’s theme focused on people with disabilities, both mental and physical.

AN exhibition of paintings by youth with special needs took part in enlivening the Earthy Christmas event, the Pullman Thamrin Hotel Jakarta from 15 December to 29 December 2019. The hotel provided an area on the 2nd floor to exhibit these paintings with youth with special needs and works they also aim for charity.

WITH theme of Year End Season 2015 Painting Exhibition was held at Sari Pan Pacific Hotel Jakarta, Diego Luister Berel with his friends joined at this art exhibition and held for the public starting from December 15-20, 2015. At this painting exhibition he was displaying three paintings and one of his painting was sold.
